Question: How can I keep a healthier cleaner environment for my family or business.
Answer: Cleaning of visibly dirty surfaces is the first step the CDC recommends for the prevention of COVID-19 and other viral respiratory illnesses in households.

Question: Does the CDC provide any recommendations for cleaning carpets?
Answer: The CDC specifically recommends the following process for cleaning carpets. For soft (porous) surfaces such as carpeted floor, rugs, and drapes, remove visible contamination if present and clean with appropriate cleaners indicated for use on these surfaces. After cleaning - use products with the EPA-approved emerging viral pathogen claims that are suitable for porous surfaces.

Question: Can Master Carpet Disinfect my House?
Answer: Master Carpet will help with the first step the CDC recommends - cleaning. The CDC states "Cleaning refers to the removal of germs, dirt, and impurities from surfaces. Cleaning does not kill germs, but by removing them, it lowers their numbers and the risk of spreading infection."

Cleaning will prepare you to follow the second step the CDC recommends - disinfecting. They advise "Disinfecting refers to using chemicals to kill germs on surfaces. This process does not necessarily clean dirty surfaces or remove germs, but by killing germs on a surface after cleaning, it can further lower the risk of spreading infection.
